    Etiquette

    Before Class:

    1. Sign in for each class at the front desk.  
    2. Arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins to get set up in yoga room (New students arrive 20 minutes before class start time).  
    3. Leave shoes in designated areas of the lobby/hallway.
    4. Please bring only towel, mat and water into the yoga room (no cell phones).
    5. Make room for other students if class is full. 
    6. Enter the yoga room silently. Practice and observe silence in the yoga room as students may be meditating.

    During Class:

    1. Refrain from talking in class. Practice and observe silence in the yoga room. If you have questions for the teacher, please ask before or after class in the lobby.
    2. Practice in the front row when you feel you are ready to be a role model to those behind you.
    3. Do your best to stay in the room once class begins.  If you must leave, please let the teacher know and return between postures.
    4. Focus on yourself in the mirror.
    5. Practice stillness in between postures.
    6. Listen to your body and take a break if you need to.
    7. Listen to the teacher, and do your best to try each posture as instructed.
    8. Refrain from using hand towels to wipe sweat from your body. Your body cools naturally through perspiration.
    9. Have fun…and remember this is your practice.

    After Class:

    1. Practice and observe silence after the final savasana. This is your time for meditation.
    2. Leave the room quietly. Respect others.
    3. Hang rented mats on hangers in back of room.
    4. Please be mindful of the time.  The studio is open 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after each class.
    5. Take all of your items home with you (clothing, mat, towels, water bottles).  
    6. Enjoy the peace and energy you have within you. Come back tomorrow!
